Emma Ursich is currently the Group Head of Corporate Identity of Generali Group and Executive Officer of the company’s The Human Safety Net Foundation with the responsibility to oversee the definition and implementation of institutional initiatives and corporate identity messages as well as the activities of the Generali Foundation – The Human Safety Net Onlus.
Emma has spent about twenty years in the field of reputation management, media, stakeholder and community engagement. Throughout this work, Emma has followed her belief that a company’s image depends on actively bringing its purpose to life.
As Executive Officer of the Generali Foundation she is fully committed in the development of ambitious programmes to tackle the key socio-demographic issues in Generali’s communities, focusing on social mobility, migration and newborn health.
In Venice, Emma is cooperating with different institutions to create a new hub for social innovation, mobilising experts, NGOs and civil society to tackle issues related to human potential and equal life chances.
Prior to joining Generali in 2006, she worked in consulting and advised both national and multi-national companies and institutions around reputation, crisis and issue management across different industries, from consumer goods to finance, logistics and the pharma and biomedical field.
Emma has a BA Honours and MA in Oriental Studies, Chinese from the University of Oxford. She is a Member of Generali’s Leadership Group and of the Business Council of US based Tent Foundation.
